Shantungasaurus is a hadrosaur, most hadrosaur species would have ran on two legs, but walked on four, to get away from predators with a larger amount of stamina. So I'm not surprised dondi incorporated the bipedal run with the Shantungasaurus. Love you Anthomnia! !!!! 😍😍😘😘😘😘😘😃😃😃

Sometimes, when I start the game, it really takes some time to load and I shortly see a dinosaur silhouette in the static. Am I the only one who noticed that? Or did others see it, too?

With the matriarch; back in the first months of isle being on steam shant used to be able to switch from two and four legs by choice. Back then you could run on two legs and correct me if I’m wrong that’s where I’m recognizing the animation, it’s the old one we once had.

(Then again I have a very poor memory so I could be recalling details wrong but I don’t believe I am)

I like the way the Shant runs on two legs because it honestly makes sense. I think I remember reading somewhere that a hadrosaurid's (duck-billed dinosaur) front arms were actually quite small in comparison to the rest of the body. So running on all fours could actually seriously injure the smaller front limbs because they wouldn't be able to withstand that type of force. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, just don't treat me like an idiot please.
