Mortal Kombat 1 is a 2023 fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. It is the twelfth main installment in the Mortal Kombat series, serving as both a sequel to Mortal Kombat 11 (2019) and the series' second reboot, following Mortal Kombat (2011).[3] The game was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on September 19, 2023.

Mortal Kombat 1 received generally positive reviews from critics. The Nintendo Switch version was criticized for its graphics and technical issues.

Mortal Kombat 1 features a story mode, online multiplayer with rollback netcode, and offline gameplay. The game introduces a feature called Kameo Fighters, which provides assistance to the player during fights in a similar fashion to the tag assist fighters of the Towers of Time mode in Mortal Kombat 11 (2019). These characters are separate from the main roster, and are chosen before each fight. There are two types of assists provided by each Kameo Fighter: Summons, which can be performed while the player remains in one place, and Ambushes, which can be performed regardless of what the player is doing. They can also be called to perform their own Fatalities and Brutalities. In addition, the chosen Kameo Fighter also affects how much health the players will have in a fight.

Here are all the mistakes I noticed :
- Havik is from the orderrealm (chaosrealm does not exist in this timeline)
- Shang Tsung is from outworld
- Frost is american
- Baraka is edenian

Sektor is Japanese-Chinese. His actual name is Tekku(iron hound). His father's name is Oniro(Doppel).

Its small in terms of population and not well known so its nice to have a famous character have origins from here❤its also odd ngl😂😂😂 usually people just use South Africa 😂

Funny thing is "Shujinko" means protagonist in Japanese.

I think Raiden is Chinese (although his name is of a Japanese origin), Baraka is an Edenian, and Shang Tsung is from Outworld (unlike his previous timeline counterparts who was Chinese).

Smoke being from Czechia and Cyrax being from Botswana completely blindsided me but also I find that really cool

Baraka says in-game that he is Edenian

It's really weird to see Scorpion(Kuai Liang)being Chinese when in the mean time he uses a Japanese weapon(kusarigama).

In the new timeline its like this

Baraka - Edenian
Shang Tsung - Outworlder
Raiden - Chinese
Havik - Seido (Orderealm to become Chaosrealm)

Plus it looks like so far that Edenia doesnt exist anymore, but its merged by Liu Kang with Outworld to stop the Outworld-Edenian war. Thats why Outworld looks so different and lush and Sindel and Jerrod are ruling. That makes Edenians native Outworld race not nationality.

Frost is not from China. She doesn't look Asian. She's Caucasian and she is an American of Cryomancer descent. She and Sub-Zero are not necessarily of that race, they are just their descendants after so many years.

Wait a minute…some of these are wrong I think. I’m pretty sure Frost is American, and Shang Tsung is from Outworld. And Baraka (in this timeline) is edenian aswell.

Shujinko is also the Protagonist of Mk Deception Konquest Mode and you can explore the Mk World and Meet Lots of Characters

1. Sun Do is not like... a different country in outworld, so I don't think pointing that out was nessesary. As well as Edenia since it is a part of outworld empire
2. Barraka is Edenian
3. Shang Tsung is Outworlder
4. Raiden is Chinese
5. Havik is Seidan (from Orderrealm)
6. Frost's nationality is never mentioned
