Powerful Earthquake In Haiti Leaves Hundreds Dead

Thousands of Haitians are still in the streets searching for loved ones and neighbors after a devastating earthquake on Saturday. At least 300 people are confirmed dead, and more than 1,800 were wounded. NBC’s Vaughn Hillyard reports for Sunday TODAY.

It breaks my heart to see the beautiful people of Haiti go though so much pain in their country. The last few months they have had their President assinated and now this earthquake. So many lives lost and people injured. So sad. 😢 The hospital that Hillary promised to build in Haiti years ago would have really helped in this time of need. She should be ashamed of herself promising a hospital and never following through. Where did the $$ go?

The Building Standard should be upgraded.
Houses and building should be built inclusive of seismic loadings along structural design loadings for heavy Especially now we are experiencing earth and climate changes.
First levels of house and buildings to avoid damage from heavy floodings.
