Dvořákovo nábřeží

Náplavka - Dvořák embankment
Another interesting view of the Hradčany panorama is offered by the Dvořák embankment. It comes to life irregularly with cultural events, but mainly it is used as a wharf for passenger ships that offer sightseeing and scheduled cruises for visitors to the city. The only barrier-free pier in Prague - Bohemia Port - is also located here.

Dvořák embankment in the Old Town in Prague runs along the right bank of the Vltava from Na Rejdišti Street next to the Čech Bridge to the Štefánik Bridge. It is named after the world-famous Czech composer Antonín Dvořák (1841–1904). The embankment is part of Prague's flood protection, in stage 0001 in the years 1999–2000 mobile walls were placed here, which protected the Old Town from flooding during the 2002 flood. At the Čech Bridge there is a dock for ships of the Prague Boats s.r.o. company, which is the largest shipping operator in Prague, and therefore it is possible to see more ships and steamers at Dvořák embankment than at other embankments.

======================================
Prague is a living encyclopedia of architecture. Romanesque churches and dungeons, Gothic temples, baroque gardens and castles, magnificent art nouveau buildings and unique cubist buildings - all this makes Prague unique.
