Why is Heart Month important?

According to the CDC, heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women. One person dies every 33 seconds in the United States from cardiovascular disease.

While heart disease is very serious, it still is preventable. We urge people to take charge of their health by educating themselves, raising awareness, and taking preventative action.
