Definitely walking onto the ice with guards on at a competition. Yea.

Mine was when I went on the ice too quickly and I hit the starting pose before even the results of the girl before me were told. So I just stood there like an idiot, waiting for music to start and insted they started to talk about points... I was soooo emberassed

I enjoyed watching Meryl as Charlie explained his embarrassing moments, because usually in interviews they're both so keyed in on supporting each other-- when one speaks, the other gazes attentively and nods in agreement.  But when your partner is describing what a klutz he was, should you support him by agreeing or disagreeing with what he says?  She looks like she can't quite figure it out!

   Gracie Gold told her story so well I watched it several times.  All the skaters were fun-- bless 'em for being willing to share this stuff.  :)

I had a costume with fuzz and jewels on it when I was 8. I took off my guards, and realized half way through my program that one of them was stuck on the costume, and was tearing a hole in the back. So embarrassing.

I once went out in a competition with guards on and when I fell, I slid a bit, so I wasnt right next to the wall or ground. Everyone just watched me pathetically try to get up. After about 30 seconds of utter embarrassment, I took my guards off and walked back to where my coach was. During my program the clip on my dress came undone but it was a good program so... You win some you loose a lot

I stepped out on to the roller rink floor once and my hair was in a bun and I was skating to thriller that year. I was dressed in black pants, black shirt and white ripped up t-shirts pinned to my black shirt and black pants. I tripped and fell on one of the white t-shirt strips that had fallen off and my bun which was obviously not well secured to my head fell out. 20 bobby pins fell on the rink floor... And this was my first competition ever.
