The average bar fine in Angeles is between 4-6k peso plus lady drinks, and the cost of anything else you do, that is hardly a cheap option? And if you are foolish enough to start a relationship with a bar girl you will end up with just as many issues. If you are into relationships with pros, then freelancers are a cheaper option, you just need to exercise more care. However over the years I have seen just as many scams in bars as anything you hear about with freelancers.

For school fees, just go pay it yourself rather than hand her the cash and hope for the best. Scams are, for example, "Babe, i want to go stay with you but I don't have the fare. Please babe, send me the fare money, plus extra for my snacks when traveling." And she never shows. That's a common scam.
