According your design rules for bedrooms, the master bed should flip to the opposite wall (so the door is not located next to your head) 🙂

Too bad about the issues regarding the plumbing for the kitchen... the sitting area in the back would make it more cosy...

To me one room living and kitchen formats are boring and I initially preferred the L-shaped arrangement. However, your comment about the best light made sense for the final option. Was this an efficient layout - yes. Was it lacking in interest - also yes.
