Tyran Grillo talks about 'Legends of the Galactic Heroes Volume 4' September 9, 2017

Tyran Grillo, translator of the ‘Legends of the Galactic Heroes’ visited New York Kinokuniya to give a talk on the iconic science fiction series by Yoshiki Tanaka and published in English by Haikasoru to an audience of avid fans. One person in the audience had read the series more than ten times when he was younger. Tyran gave a great overview of the series and then delved into reading sections of Volume 4: Stratagem from his translations which are compelling and highly poetic. The series is a ‘light novel’ and available on our second floor near the manga section. The work is science fiction though and its prose is highly recommend and, as noted above, the series can be addictive.
