My dads first car was a 1950 ford 2 door he got it when he was 8 from his uncle bc itndidnt run right and that is what started my dad and a lomg history with cars.Then it sat for 43 years and we got it running, we painted it and put a 302 in it and man it is probably gonne e a family heirloom

will my old subaru 2007 last, shes been taken care of ? i got new tune up filters fluids brakes rotors drums tire rods alternator radiator housing billet aluminum, plugs wires when i changed the alternator i busted the wire harness so i have it hooked directly without the plastic but shes getting full voltage and running good i put a little crazy glue not on but around it to stabilize it til my part comes in. she rides smooth i got 103k and a friend of mine has one ten years older and has 300k i asked him if he ever had any major issues he said nope! i even put a new timing belt and serpentine. will get the cam kit when i get cam money lol. i keep getting a battery and brake warning light after the change im thinking its my connection or maybe one of those tricks from factory or just reset it after i repair it at some shop. i mean new tires new rims its like new whoever owned it 103k in 17years is mild usage most likely highway.

I laugh sometimes because most of the time they're old cars with engines that are bulletproof and the only thing wrong with them is they've been sitting for a few years or decades 😂😂
When you get it running please paint it the original color or as close as you can get, so it doesn't look so rusty.

So I bought s 51 for 125. The fuel pump was mechanical. There was a rod that would wear and the car would not start when the rod was worrn
