Virtual DJ 2023 Recording Options - PLUS HOW TO RECORD OUTSIDE OF VDJ

This video shows you two ways to record your DJ sets. The first is the nice neat easy to use built in recording feature found inside of Virtual DJ 2023. The second shows you how to connect VDJ output sound to a free DAW software called Audacity which is helpful if you want to do some professional DAW processing of your sound output.

Aloha DJ LaFav I really appreciate you posting this! I own & operate a community radio station in Hawaii, and we use VDJ'23 for our broadcasting, but have DJ's who's work schedule conflicts with their show, so now we can pre-record their show, and upload it and play it on time! Bro thanks, this video was exactly what I needed, I use audacity program to record me singing with backing tracks, then I just started doing so Karaoke singing with Virtual DJ, at home. My gf is my biggest fan and likes to hear me sing, bless her heart, I'm not to bad, but my voice quality has gone down since I had COVID a few years ago. Thanks for the video

when i record on audacity and play the audio back it is not the same audio it sounds like a bunch of screams, any advice?

Nice review. I'm new to this and trying to decide wish software route to take for importing my vinyl to edit and mix. Can Virtual DJ import from a USB source directly? Or I can use quicktime to import and then import the file into VDJ to edit and mix?

Thanks a bunch! When I put that new output for VB it has a different sample rate ? Do you know why or how to March it with the other two outputs ? I think it’s showing my mix down for this reason.

Question here, I'm trying to do a recording in VDJ and I have my laptop hooked up to a 8 channel mixer, with built in audio interface. The question is how do I turn of all the reverb effects on VDJ, and only used the reverb effects from the mixer?
I think the two are fighting each other.

When I record to audacity I don't use vb cable. I just go into the record settings of audacity and select wasapi loopback so it records the audio playing on the computer. I also use this to record from YouTube.
