Overall, a great concept with real promise. One thing I’ve found almost all trailers lack (not just teardrops), is a decent workstation. I’d love to see the bench seat have a supportive backrest and a sturdy/adjustable computer table accessory. It’s 2023 and lots of us have remote work providing the flexibility to work from anywhere, but finding a small off road capable trailer that you can sometimes work in is very difficult. They generally end up being the equivalent of sitting cross legged on a mattress with your computer on your lap. This Square trailer has the space to make it happen. I know we are not the only ones out there interested in a go anywhere trailer that can help us work from anywhere.

I like that the body extends over the tires so there is very little fender sticking out from the body. Folks with kids or dogs or both will like it for sure.

Bean: build and sell the concept. Make sure the pop top is insulated enough to be able to air condition the inside. Add a hitch in the rear for bikes or outside storage. Keep the base price under $30k. Make sure there’s enough room inside for a big dog

finally something for bigger families! Please keep going Bean! Gotta love the classic teardrop look though!

I really like it. It gives you the best of both worlds. Just small enough to get off the beaten path but large enough to make it comfortable for a small family. I love teardrops but we have to admit sometimes there are rainy days. This one checks off all of the boxes and then some.

Hey Drew, Steve and I were really grateful for the opportunity to meet you today after your Bean presentation at the Expo. Your channel helped us with our decision to go small and travel light. Thank you for all the time you invest in researching and analyzing gear - it made it so much easier for us to finally "go all in"! We are excited to take our Bean on it's first full fledged camping trip to Page, AZ! Thank you for inspiring us to get out and explore. 💕

I really liked the layout in the interior and might appeal to people with kids that want that Overland experience. I think it would be interesting if they used that ample headroom to have a dual queen size bunk in front and make the back a dual indoor/outdoor kitchen with a hatch that can be used inside and outside. Have fun at the Expo and enjoy the coffee! You will probably need it with all that is going on this weekend!! 😁

I’m looking forward to how this version develops. There is a lot to love about the extra interior space.

As someone with two teenagers, this would be great.

Drew- thanks for the review! LOVE IT! REALLY hoping BEAN gives this some serious consideration.

Here’s why its appealing… for us older folks (50+) who still firmly believe in small camping/ living but have aging bodies, the ability to stand while in an enclosed space is a VERY GOOD thing!

This is still tiny to make it over a variety of challenging terrain- but big enough for me, wife and a few grandkids to be in.

Looking forward to seeing more about this!

Just being able to stand up is the game changer

Best teardrop style trailer I’ve ever seen. Props to Bean, I hope they keep this on the lineup.

I've been looking for the perfect trailer for months and the bean teardrops are one of my top options, but you make this one and my credit card is coming out!

Man, I'd love to have this thing! Esp since my new rescue pup is going to be my camping dog, and she goes by Beans!

It certainly could use some iteration. I want to see some more time taken to have it blow my mind. I want drawers, a fan, heat (tho I might see the vent for it), spots to hang jackets, and awning outside. Running water outside. What about that kitchen is available inside and outside. Slide, door, something. Swap the lights for ones that are white, amber, and red. Flexible roof mounting system. The ability to put a Thule box up there with solar would be great. I am not sure how much value it has to have it popup, vs been 8-12" taller, maybe this is to keep it inside a standard garage? Also consider an easy way to install the new Ecoflow Wave 2 as the source of the heat and cooling since with 400watts of solar it can run forever. Maybe partner up with Ecoflow and have the battery and Wave 2 as options. Hitch mounted bike would be cool for times when not worried about offroad, but another option is some kind of track system that can floor mount them during travel inside. I very much love this idea.

Finally a great concept for the Northern US with more protection from the cold and rain! Nice work Bean. Keep going.

This is the trailer I will buy when it's released. I think the biggest focus for me is that it has a ton of open space for cargo, which makes it very flexible and allows it to be used for a variety of things. I don't like bathrooms and kitchens inside of offroad trailers. It makes sense if you're pulling a house on wheels setup (like an Airstream) and hitting developed campsites or RV parks with hookups, but I think it is a massive waste of space in an offroad trailer where you're supposed to be out in the elements anyway. Also,  I don't like cooking or taking dumps inside of small trailers, lol. It just smells the whole thing up.

I don't mind the tiny indoor kitchenette on this model, which I'd likely only use in bad weather, but I'd request for it to be removed if I could. You could always just plug in a little induction cooktop and cook on a table inside if you wanted. No need for a permanent install of a kitchen and waste all that space. No need for 2 kitchens. Even when it's raining, I prefer to just cook under a pop-up or a Crosswing awning and keep all those fumes and smells outside the trailer. I'd rather allocate all that interior space to a nice, comfy bed, work/lounge space, cargo storage and room to just stretch out. Give me more floor space to throw a bunch of pelican cases or carry e-bikes inside the trailer.

I really think they NAILED this thing and I'm very excited about. I hope they update us soon. Though I fear for what the price is going to be in this new age of post-covid inflation.

Looks great! Family of 4 here. My kids would never sleep in the same bed together. I would suggest making the 2nd bed a bunk bed rather than a pullout.
