And that one bite would have killed her from infection, instead of not even slowing her down when she fights trained warriors later. at the end of the episode, she's clearly very drunk, but has a car and bike chase that makes Fast and Furious seem modest. I'm not going back after the first episode.

I can't believe the writers used the "it will be fun, they said" meme as a line of dialogue in the year 2024.

I think what I loved so much about the tomb raider reboot was how gritty and realistic it was with Laura's survival and the fact that it's not easy of fun to have to fight for your survival, i doubt you'd be slinging quips after being bitten by an alligator.

❤❤❤❤ oh my God I love the TV series and all the movies I cannot wait till they do season 2 even though they change her design a lot over the years and will always be a TR fan grew up with her she was my Indiana Jones and James Bond as a kid.. and I'm okay with the Netflix design I just look at it as her vest is bulletproof / padded also can't wait for the remastered games.

Lara used to be someone who relished being inside the tomb more than her million dollars aristocratic mansion. She would never say "a nice holiday in chile he said, it'll be fun he said". The real Lara would scoff and eat this netflix Lara for breakfast.

Thank you, Netflix, for something new and fresh for the tomb raider universe ❤ I find being a TR fan for so long now, it's like being a Doctor Who fan, you can watch the character you love being regenerated and reformed into something new every ten or so years, and it's the most fun. This was giving the very young lara from the top cow comics for me, before she became who she grew up to be, the one the games and movies depicted. Thank you for keeping her alive 🖤
