Glad you didn't take the lazy way out this time by just dropping the percentages. That really sucked. Hope there is a better steal system in place this time. I shouldn't be able to swipe and my hand goes right through the ball. Looking forward to seeing the improvements

The problem with past versions, including 2K13, was every game felt the same. It didn't matter which AI team was the opponent - every team played the same. On top of that, opposing (AI) superstars didn't matter. Some random scrub was just as likely to have a big game against you as Lebron or Wade. There was no need to try to shut down a super star. This became apparent in a playoff series. "Why is Lebron only scoring 13 PPG? Why is he only taking 9 shots per game?"

Couldn't agree more Seth, I really like it, the controls have switched back and forth over the last few versions so just took a little getting used too again.... when I did we have had some brilliant games against each other.... a lot of people don't like this 2K but I think its the best yet and am enjoying it, cant wait for the next gen version!!!

Nba 2k14 next gen looks life like, not realistic like current gen, but life like.I think I want to go into graphic design this is really something.

if NBA2k14 is just NBA2k13 plus better blocking, I'll still buy it because after a year playing 2k13 nonestop I am still in awe of how a sports video game could capture real life so well...it's the little things that I still do notice (just the other day Melo did a dunk, then came down on a spin and and let off a shot with his index finger in celebration that had me smiling) that just makes it all so worth while...god I hope 2k gets back to football before I die

Chris Smoove put out a video and it gets mentioned on IGN, every 2K video, and both 2K community managers tweet about it, it makes the top of 2k reddit, its clearly more than just than Youtube mate.

hopefully boxing out is fixed because they just seem to box you out perfectly as soon as the ball is in the air as far as the 3 point line sometimes (in conjunction with the defender sucking onto you just because you are trying to move anywhere towards the basket on offense or defense)

as far as technical in a game...the player emotions should be the determining factor. if you make a bunch of baskets against a player who has him emotions very high or make good defensive plays against him and he becomes frustrated (a new symbol for frustrated should be added not only hot or cold) and eventually he will either go off on a ref or a player.
That push off button should be able to be used when cutting by the way that mechanic would make it more fair then being subject to the suck on

in myplayer mode they should give you a way to hype up the crowd. there should be a button that you can press to do a signature celebration you make 3 to 5 seconds after a basket or defensive play that you purchase just like a dunk package or jump shot or pregame ritual.
You should also be able to cut through without getting stuck in that stupid animation when your defender sucks onto you...whats worse is when you try to get out of it by going the other way they suck onto you again!!

i think the game has changed it plays more smoother, you can block dunks and you can't score so easily 3pt fadeaway cheese is gone hopefully they also worked for next gen i think it's gonna be great game

I don't want a fight button but there should be a push off button when your defender starts to suck onto you while cutting or driving/ same on defense you should be able to extend your off arm a little when driving by and if you press it too much or too hard then it is an offensive or defensive foul. that would be a more fair and realistic defense/offensive balanced approach.

LOL at the Kemba Walker block i hope this new shot blocking mechanic does not mean that point guards can become great shot blockers or that it become totally cheese where if you "time" the button press at the right time that you will get the perfect block every single time no matter what the player block rating is

you just need to learn the controls because I was a beast in the previous 2ks and I am in this one as well. Controls are better then last year if you learn them and don't just hop on the game and expect to know them all already. Take time to get them down and you will like this game.

Wouldn't it be awesome if you could be coming out of high school and choose if you wanted to go to college and get up to the first overall pick or enter the draft right out of high school?
