Hmmm... interesting. I feel like I can't access proper parts without an agent. They wouldn't even let me audition or approach them if I don't have an agent. I feel like I can only audition for student films or short films or unpaid theatre parts. But maybe I am missing something.

The answer is a little biased though isn't it? I mean actors can get roles from backstage without an agent
