2019 GEERTOP one person trekking pole tent review.
Excellent tent when considering price to quality.
But as with any piece of gear, there are downsides.

I’m using a 2 person tent, I forget the brand name but it isn’t a very popular one. I got it in Australia, and it was under $30, USD. It does the job but I’m definitely in need of an upgrade this year or next!! This review couldn’t have come at a better time since I’ve been shopping around lately!

Hello mr 🐙 always interesting to see what and how other people use and setup kit. Being a tag team Kat and I have often talked about carrying individual tents/tarps. This would be ideal for her I think, maybe a little toight for me 🤭🏕👍❤☕ stay safe and be well, Ceri and Kat 🤗

Looks like a great tent but I would be that one person that forgot her hiking poles haha. Thanks for sharing this. I am trying to get all my backpacking gear and it all adds up so quickly!

Looks a little tight but I've NEVER seen this before. I like the concept! Well done Keith! My one man tent is a hammock. I did just get a Lanshan though.

Geertop makes great gear for the $$. My first backpacking tent was made by Geertop and this is one I would buy now!

Great review! That looks like a great budget friendly option. Unfortunately I am 6’ 3”. I don’t see that one working for me. I am in the market for a couple small tents for my boys. This might work! I only have one question, how does the rake work with the sweet gumballs? I have been battling those darn trees in my yard for years. They are my nemesis.

I've used the Paria Outdoor Products Bryce 1P for the last year. That is a really roomy 1P, more like 1.5P. I've started using their Arches 2P because I wanted a trekking pole tent and that is a true 2P. Length seems to be an issue with Chinese tents.

Are you able to set up the fly separately? Looking at this and the river country pyramid tent. Thanks for the nice video

I found this tent online and was wondering if it held up in the weather and the roominess . Thanks for the review

Nice tent for the $$. As you know, it’s a little bit of tight quarters inside but as a minimal shelter it does the truck with a big net which is key!

We haven't started overnight trips just yet, but we might start next year at some point, and we're always looking at the various bits of gear out there. Is it possible to stretch the space a bit by laying a little diagonal in the tent?

I agree that it is a small tent. However, I am 6'1" and can still fit inside it barely. The inside space lacks, but makes up for it in the massive double vestibules. It's a $120 tent that is only 2.5 pounds.

Did you extend the poles to their longest length and do you think longer poles would help life the tent off your face?

Nice tent, but even better tee shirt. 😁
