I met him when they were filming Smokey and the Bandit he was Hilarious. I was arguing with the producers because I was riding my horse at Mundys mill and they wanted me to leave. I had no idea who they were and didn't care, but Jerry sat on the ground next to me and told them to kiss his butt that we weren't going anywhere. He laughed and laughed but he didn't leave my side until my horse finished his drink of water. He was my body guard. Thanks Jerry...it was nice to meet you.

Kids loved this movie in the 80s. Largely due to an edited for tv version. Jerry Reed was awesome in it as well.
