This is so amazing. Its always the simplest of things. I always think "why didn't i think of that"!!!!! And why didn't I!

Below are the links to US and UK sites.

If you also google stippling sponge you should be able to find a small version if you cannot afford or do not want to buy the big version.

NOTE: While this will clean your brushes very well allowing you to switch between colours this is not a substitute to actually cleaning your brushes! You still need to wash them once a week or so... what this does is allow you to use the same brush in different colours without cross contamination!

There's something wonderfully compelling about observing a person who has found his place and his passion. I've spent a few hours over just the past couple of days watching your videos partially from the fascination of what you do and how you demonstrate it, but mainly have been watching due to the sheer light that comes through your eyes and your entire face as you explain and elaborate on what you obviously love to do. So thankful to be an observer of your art! (A new subscriber and supporter of yours, lovely man.)

Good for you Wayne!  People who have not experienced dental pain every day of their life have no comprehension of how marvelous it feels to finally be rid of the pain.  So delighted for your happiness.  God bless you real good!

This is a good way to clean the makeup brushes in between use or for everyday before deep cleaning them. I saw this recently and thought, that is so great! The texture of the sponge are meant for hair bristles to flick of all of the eyeshadow pigments. Using tissue will not able to get rid of the shadows, more like spreading it around like painting!. However, this is not meant for using the same brush on multiple people. It is not disinfected. I do see this as something very useful when I do gigs. It helps me use less brushes on one person.

I love my color switch by Vera Mona. Everyone who sees me using it too is so fascinated by it. Something so little but really is so great and handy to have.

Another product that I've found for cleaning brushes (for either a deep clean or just to clean between colors) is the makeup brush cleaner from Japonesque.  Just give your brush half a spritz or so from the bottle and wipe your brush in a circular motion on a paper towel and you're all set to go.  I bought it a couple months ago and have been hugely impressed with how well it cleans my brushes.  Even my foundation brush after using a liquid foundation is completely clean in just a few seconds.  I bought it at Ulta.  I haven't checked to see if it is available anywhere else.

Wonderful. So much time saving and fast. No mess. I just tried it out on the nearest thing to hand that is as close as I could get to Stippling Sponge - a kitchen sink yellow and green dry sponge! AND IT WORKED!! So happy, thumbs up Goss!!! I'm sure you will agree it is best to still wash brushes after each client or  once a week for non-makeup artists :)

I'm pretty sure it just removes the pigment and not the bacteria (or oils) on the brushes, so it may not be that beneficial

I own this product and use it in my kit. It is perfect for switching colors and not having to use 20 different brushes. If you are using it with several clients you will have to have a brush cleaner or disinfectant available to use on your brushes in between clients. It cleans easily as well. It is a great product!!

A great tip for people who have only got a small brush kit. Yeah it might not 'clean' the brush, but it 'cleans' the product off it to allow the same brush to use a new colour. It's a good tip.
