He uses his crashes as light rides..I've been influenced by this approach for the last 7-8 years or so, and just love it.. I use a Paiste Giant Beat multi 18", vintage black label 20" Paiste 505 crash/ ride, and a 20" 2002 crash..Sort of the same concept he has here but with Paiste cymbals..I'd love to see Keith strut his stuff with the Paiste cymbals of his choice..It would be interesting to see..

The only thing I don't really like, is that K Custom ride.. way too pingy. But man, his technique and control's through the roof. Love that! And indeed, that kick.. it will always stun me.

Gretsch, can you tell me which Brooklyn snare drum Keith plays ? Is it COB or steel ? I love the sound !

Got it. You may have noticed that it seems that the air flows inside the bass drum resonance that end with that dumm. beyond what you have told me something special?
