The problem are those other guys who had a complex and shamed him. I think problem is in collectivism of society... Not in individual person, person would help but they are afraid of judgment from environment 😢

This is all over the world. Not just Russia. I live in Canada and I don’t know of any men who match their female partner’s contributions in childcare and housework even when they both work jobs outside the home.

You need to find a Russian American or a Russian Canadian my dear.

My wife is Russian and Bulgarian and I am Russian and German, I help her out around the house. She is right though Russian men are very traditional; even if you work; they expect you to handle the domestic responsibilities, such as cooking and cleaning.

They will not prevent you from working, as long as the house is taken care of. In 🇷🇺 you still have gender roles, even today; the man is the man and the woman is the woman.

Do not forget over 80 percent of the people are ethnic Russian and most are Russian orthodox so they are conservative.. Yes, in 🇷🇺 the Man is the Man but the woman is Everton. The woman is the mother, the wife and the man might be the head but there is a saying, the woman is the neck, and the neck can turn the head in any direction.

That is the man archetype in traditional countries. When you want your men to be traditional (pay on a date, open door, buy flowers, etc.), you also get this (no chores, not taking care of children, no talking about feelings, etc.).
You can't have both. Which behavior/attribute is more important to you?

I just bought this book called Hard Times Create Strong Men by Stefan Aarnio. In it, a man is a man, and a woman is a woman. If the gender were reversed, then it would create problems. Women always want Strong Men. In Russia, I am glad that men are men and women are women.

Look, the truth of the matter is, countries that are obsessed with gender equality are on the decline now. And by "decline", i don't mean technological/economic decline, but socio-cutural/moral decline.
This is an undeniable fact. You might shout "but correlation isn't causation!" which is true, but I'm telling you, feminism definitely did (and continues to) play a part indirectly in this. Contrary to the feminist narrative, back in the day, lot of women actually loved taking traditional gender roles. Being mothers and taking care of children. They were actually happier than modern women.

My mom was happy to resign her role as a math teacher to focus on raising me and my sister right, cuz she had the maturity to know it was a job in itself and somebody has to do it properly. It was her own decision and she's still proud to this day she did a fine job in raising us.

Ever since feminism got popular, divorces started to increase, and loneliness became the new norm. Like 70% of the divorces in the west are initiated by women, and that increases to 90% if you consider college educated women. Those figures are insane if you think about it.

Even my own mother is wary of me dating a modern woman after hearing the ever increasing horror stories from them. As a woman who is aware of how lot of women today behave, she knows its becoming more and more hard for the avg guy to find a family oriented girl.
