USDT is still the preferred stablecoin, for transaction, in the South Pacific area.

I also take profits into USDT; like I did with SUI today.
And, from the info I've seen, USDC is even more centralised, than USDT. With Tether being backed by ~80% US Treasury Bills.

Any crypto platform that generates new public keys for every transaction must also generate corresponding private keys. So, Solana is doing the same thing that Cardano has been doing for years. The new keys are derived from the old keys plus something known as a parent key chain code. But if quantum computing can figure out both the derived key plus chain code, then all keys derived from that are comprised.

So, the bitcoin is already "quantum resistant" since the introduction of P2PKH in 2009
