See, aside from the smell, I'd actually enjoy the muscle gel in lieu of some of the skincare. As you said you only have one face so how much skincare can you need. Firming creams don't work but they might add a temporary plumping effect so you can't see the dimples in the skin from cellulite

I hate how Ipsy and Boxy advertise these products as "worth x amount of $$" when we know MOST of the products should NOT BE that much.
Like when I get a 2ml sample of something in my Ipsy, and it tells me it's worth $18.... It's like, no, it's really not.

I would NEVER pay $48 for a mascara -- just as I would NEVER pay $120 for a face serum, or $18 for a "deluxe sample".
It's just insane. I'm getting to the point I'm going to cancel my Ipsy -- because I can't stand knowing that I pay money for samples every month.

I feel like brands know they can up the market value of any of their products at any given time, just because they know people will still buy them anyway.

What is the beauty world coming to? Can hardly find a decent eyeshadow pallette for less than $80 anymore.


P. S I KNEW the floral fragrance you were smelling was the aromatherapy muscle balm/lotion stuff. Rosemary, Lavender, Ginger, and Black Pepper... ..? Yeah, definitely!
I have a hand moisturizer (a gardener's healing balm lotion) that's got Lavender, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, et al, and just the packaging alone smells of the aromatherapy. It seeps through more than artificial fragrances do.
