Izzy, well done on your own. It brought back memories of our family Camping Holidays there in the mid to late 90’s, we stayed at the Boswinger Campsite (7 out of 10years) with our young pre teen sons who did the gate duties. We loved the ‘back road’ to Gorren Haven that you used the Views of Vault Beach were always stunning. PS in our day Vault beach was the ‘unofficial’ local Nudist Beach so perhaps it was just as well it was deserted! Glad you enjoyed the experience.

Sometimes you just want to do a couple of nights of car camping -- no back-country camping. It's nice to have the facilities, as frugal as they may be. No need to hang a bear bag or dig a hole. Plus, you have the car right there for storage, so you can bring real food and things like coffee presses, etc. BTW -- I really like how real and genuine you are with us, Izzy. Nothing is more cool than honesty and nothing is more fun than being yourself. If we could ever all meet you (as frightening as that sounds), you would have 59, 000 friends. You would never buy another beer again for the rest of your life.

Awesome childhood memories 😊. This trip reminded me of some solo camping I did years ago. I hiked a couple of miles into the woods and set my tent near a stream. I remember exactly the things you've been talking about, like how long it takes to get things done but in a good way. I didn't bring a stove, so prepping fires took a chunk of time. The best thing though is that I brought an inflatable kiddie pool with me so I could heat water over the fire and take the best bath ever next to the cold River. Thanks for reminding me! ❤ Lauren

I love Cornwaii, as do most of my family. I will be travelling down to Mullion for a week this coming weekend, although it is with a heavy heart as my wonderful wife of 45 years passed away earlier this year. We spent many holidays in Cornwall.
