My grandmother loved them . My parents bought the album for us . I sang in churches with the record all the time . Grandmother would pack up the stereo in the car and off we would go .

They took us to Anderson at the Gaither store and Bill was in that day .
I got to sing I am a promise to him .

He was a very kind and gentle man . And I cherish that moment forever

I am now 82 yrs old. In the late 70's I directed the Sherman Street Church of GOD's Friday Night Children's Prayer Group/Choir performed in concert, at the Anderson, IN City Auditorium, many of the songs from this album! The Gaithers attended. What a blessing to hear these songs again. Sister Becky

My Parents got this for me when I was only about 6 or 7 when they came to our church to sing and I used it for years in my Bedroom for listening even up in my Later years just to take me back, and this brings me many memories from then since my Parents are both now gone. Thanks for the Good Memories. 🙏🏻

This brings back such precious memories! Our church youth group had a puppet team & choir. We used a lot of this music for our productions. I still know most by heart 40 years later! That is a testimony for how God uses scripture & hymns to help us remember who HE IS!

My favorite song on the entire album was "I Am A Promise." Loved all the songs. Unfortunately, my mom got rid of it. She thought it was too "jazzy."
