To change the boot logo, do the following:
1. Format a microSD card (FAT32).

2. Get your logo (1600 x 600) and save to the microSD card as: boot_logo.jpg (not in a folder)

3. With the unit ON already, insert the microSD card. It will say "Prompting" then something like "Logo update complete."

4. Restart the unit, and it should start up with your new logo.

If I may ask, could you give a more in dept review of the actual dashcam and backup camera when reviewing devices like this? Every single review about these kind of devices are ignoring it completely and barely keep it to a "yes, it has it". I want to know how good it looks, are there issues with nightsight, how is the refreshrate, how easy is it to record, is there a way to emergency record, that sort of stuff...

This type of device has so many "packaking" names: Hikity, Hodozzy, Podofo, Lamto. You do have to dive more into IT 😂 Now you just look as Lamtos reseller, man 😊

I boght one and I found that the function of Android Auto and Airplay does not work well.The screen of the carplay is pretty poor.I am now manufacture a carplay factory we know the CPU of it is the key of a goog carplay.Maybe LAMTTO should come to our company to find out what is real Carplay!

I just mounted this unit which I saw on this channel. 2014 Mazda 6. First drive lasted 30 minutes, the unit turned off and on by itself 6 times, while using Google map.Screen went black, then came start up screen. The Bluetooth connects to my car but I could not get the Lamtto Bluetooth to connect to cars Bluetooth. It plays fine, just turns off and on.Any ideas. Thanks

2:47 hey dude. Great video series. Question: is there a way to flip the unit upside down and reorient the interface and video? Is there an option to do this in the user interface? (This allows the unit to be mounted from the windshield, without obscuring the dashcam lens, basically the exact way you mounted here in this video but upside down).

So I received this Lamptto CarPlay dash cam for Christmas 2023. Loved using it and its features. However, after 6 months the unit just died after 1 hour of driving. I tried switch the on off button, nothing. Unplugged the unit and replugged it still nothing on the screen. Now it won’t turn on at all. Has anyone who has purchased this unit had the same issue?

I had mine for about 2 and a half weeks and my screen stopped turning on

I recently installed my Lamtto RC07 connecting through the AUX output. Everything works fine until I make or receive a phone call. If I am listening to the radio or Spotify etc and I receive or make a phone call when I hang up, I no longer get any sound from whatever I was listening to previously, I have to restart the device in order to get the sound back. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong. Any help or advice would be great

I use the Bluetooth function for sound and is more reliable and sounds better than aux or thru the fm radio.

I got 3 different brands including this brand and they all have something wrong. One of them the unit speakers didnt work and its missing the usb port which on amazon pictures and description says it has one. Second unit get really hot and its missing window mount. Third unit which is this brand, doesnt want to connect to fm and also takes a while to boot android auto

Thought I was gonna have to stick with fm or aux which doesn’t sound all that great but for iPhone you can switch the audio output from the unit to the cars Bluetooth so I am still able to get great audio and CarPlay!!
