for the people saying the dude would be armed, you gotta realize that the movie takes place in 1980, and Texas only became a concealed carry state in 1995, and an open carry state in 2015. I’m not a gun expert but from what i understand some random ass old dude in the 80’s wouldn’t just be carry a gun around while driving, and would almost certainly not pull it out on someone that could be perceived as a cop.
