I totally forgot how close that 2001-2002 Uconn team was to beating the eventual champs, Maryland. This was a tie ballgame with 2 mins remaining. Steve Blake ended up hitting his only basket of the night, a three pointer with 25 seconds to go, to give MD a 6 point lead.

Dixon is Terry Cummings from the 90's. A power 3 with perimeter skills...

Raucus - classes resume around Jan 21 - how many students that don't live close to campus do you expect to go for just a Wednesday dinner time brawl?

I ran a sim between current UCONN w/o mcneeley and 2024's uconn and the 2025 uconn won a majority of them against the 2024 uconn team

These next two games will be tough. Gtown is much improved and Nova has been playing better. Add in UConn being short handed and the game being on campus and tomorrow will not be easy.

Dixon scored 38 vs Maryland at New Jersey & Maryland won by 1 point !

Not feeling confident about UConn Big East road games without McNeeley. As they are now, they remind me of a January 2023/Maui UConn right now.

I’d be shocked if they beat Villanova. Campus road games. ‘Nova whistles. Good three-point shooting team. If UConn comes out like they did against PC at home Sunday, they will be destroyed.

All the speculation on this vs that Uconn getting very little from Stuart and Ross. Once these two start producing all you questions are answered. And Uconn can start talking a 3peat.

I think Uconn will handle Nova like they did Purdue. Let Dixon get his points, shut down everyone else.

The problem with the metrics is the weight they give at the beginning of the season... What's the deal with Houston being a metrics darling? They have lost every game to ranked opponents. They are a good team but they are top 5 on every site and Bart Torvik has them #1 over teams that beat them like Duke and Auburn.
. doesn't make sense to me
