The new KS wheel concluded that Moza has won me over. I pre-ordered the KS wheel before I even bought the wheelbase so I can secure the wheel into my hands. In my local retailers the Simagic GT4 and Moza GS wheel are out of stock / overpriced, so much so that I concluded that GT style rims are in high demand. With R9 V2 locked on, and Moza SR-P already in use, I'll soon replace my T300RS and fully enter the Moza ecosystem.

This is one 7 way funky switch away from market leading perfection. The value they have provided here is enormous, no doubt about that, but the disappointment not to have at least one 7 way funky switch would bug me every single day, particularly given they went to the effort to install two joysticks.

I would definitely love at least one funkyswitch - for iRacing black boxes, one stick can do it all. Rotate to flick between the boxes, up/down/left/right, and press in to toggle. That's a huge miss but still didn't stop me ordering a KS straight away 🔥

Bratski great review. I use Moza KS for 2 weeks now and since i only race on LMU i use the sticks for seat adjustment…
right size right stick: closer to wheel / slide front
left side right stick: seat slide back
right stick up: seat up
right stick down: seat down
right stick click: zoom in
left stick click: zoom out

otherwize i use left stick to navigate trough the mfd when i need to adapt something what i dont have as a binding or dont have yet like for extra feautures on hypercars like motor map or energy savings or stuff like that which are not used across all classes…
but as always: what your review makes special is how much love and passion you shine for the sim racing and all that gear and you have amazing charisma to show that without the words. Keep up the amazing work!
ps: did i missed it or there is still NO review on LeMans Ultimate from you? Thats something i would love to see! and learn from you. I absolute love how car handling feels on lmu. for me no other sim has that. I even would get a copy for you on steam as support for the review :D

really thinking about upgrading my csl dd 8nm to the new R12 base and ks wheel. for the extra £200 it would cost after selling my csl it seems worth it 100%

So glad I got my Moza R5. Such a great upgrade from the Logitech G29. Now with all these new great products coming out from Moza with affordable price points. Moza won me over with the R5 Bundle and now if I choose I can get a great GT style wheel at half the price of others without compromise.

In regard to the funky switch question:

Having a T300 I know that a dpad/joystick and a set of abxy butttons are great for navigating the menus, on ACC for example, but in Iracing i have to use two hands to navigate the blackbox and its not ideal, so two joysticks are worse than that.
If I buy this wheel I would use the left Joystick for up down and increase/decrease value, and push for ok, and the right joystick to change pages, same as I do now with dpad an abxy buttons

If they change a joystick with a 7 way switch its literally perfect for 300€

would like to have 7-way...but on my GS wheel the 5 way is ok....left one for navigating in the black box ( 2 buttons or an unused rotary for switching the boxes) and left right 5-way for change the boxes in the lovely dashboard. Ahh and i like the single LED Rev turned the diffuser led bar on off

The price is good, but I agree that they should ditch the joysticks. I would prefer 7 way funky's.

I mean the 4 way joystick is not a mess, but if one of them only is changed for a funky (1 joystick + 1 funky), this wheel is a 10/10 overall (Price-features-quality). Now is a 9.5/10, wich is not bad i guess :)

I think the bigger problem instead of a lack of at least 1 funky switch, is that the 2 joysticks, even when they only recognize the 4 positions (Up, Down, Left, Right) I don't like that they have 360 movement.
