Finally looks like a proper workhorse daily trainer. The Cumulus 25 felt like a Nimbus 25 Lite. The 26 seems to have its own identity.
Good to see ASICS getting specific. This seems like an equivalent to the Clifton 9. NB with Mach and Nimbus with Bondi.

Looks much better and more nimble. I didn’t like the 25. It sits too squatty and didn’t like the ride of it. It felt too soft as well.

Any comments about durability now months later? Durability and traction in rain or off-pavement are the two things holding me back from buying these.

sucks it's a rubberized eva, my mach 5 worn out too soon, even the mach 6 got a rubber outsole.

I’m waiting for the Cumulus 26 to land. I’ve been exclusive Nimbus xx for a long time and I wanted a lighter shoe. Hope this works out for distance work.

It looks like a totally different shoe. No outsole. Did they change the geometry as well?

I demo tested these at an ASICS social run and I really liked Cumulus 26 more than Nimbus 26 and Novablast 4. Cumulus 26 felt more nimble more versatile on foot. Nimbus 26 felt too much of a shoe and unfortunately Novablast 4 is far away from the bounce I loved with Novablast OG.

Would you recommend this as a walking, every day gym shoe for someone with 100kg weight and slight supination? Or are there other models you would lean towards? Kind regards and thanks for the reviews.

The 25 to me is very comfy but HOT!! So non-breathable and unventilated, always get sweaty feet when wearing, even when not running just walking indoors. Is the 26 back to being breathable like older iterations??

Hi Nate, have you tried the NB more V4?? I suppose you have. Did you experience the same problem with the heel flare as you did with the previous cumulus? Do you think that this kind of flare might be also problematic with people suffering from
medial tibial stress syndrome?? Thank you for this video. Keep up the good work???
