My new doctor kept pushing aspirin from their pharmacy on me before she even got my test results. She didn't know I did a lot of natural research. She didn't know the benefits of keto. She is now my former doctor.

My dad took aspirin everyday. He lived to be 88 years old. Drank a lot of coffee too. And he was always busy. He sold at the flea market every week. Packed all his boxes in a van and unpacked every time he sold. His last trip to the flea market was in March 2006 and he died in May 2006. He took no prescribed meds either. Rarely saw a doctor.

I remember my OBGYN group practice recommending baby aspirin to avoid preeclampsia. She was adamant that i begin prior to 2nd trimester- i followed my inner beliefs and never filled the script. One Dr. Kept saying that so many especially women of color were at high risk of high blood pressure during pregnancy that the research was aiming to have aspirin as standard practice. I'm so glad i followed my instincts and in the end preeclampsia skipped me and so did 81mg of aspirin.

Thanks. I already use plenty of Olive Oil and take Tumeric & Ginger daily. I take a whole assortment of supplements daily. Too many to list. I also fast a minimum of 19 hours daily and have lost just shy of 90 pounds in 10 months. Guess I'm gonna add Green Tea and ditch the Low Dose Bayer Aspirin... Your videos have been so very helpful. I can't thank you enough!

Dr. Berg is giving everyone a very important insight here into critical thinking skills that should be used for all statistics and applied to all information presented by the media. What goes unsaid is often more important than what is said for the whole, real truth.

In addition to what all what Dr Berg said about other alternative natural treatments which replace aspirin, if we boil fenugreek seeds for 5 min, adding turmeric, and then sieve them and drink their tea, It acts exactly like aspirin. Bringing fever and inflammation down.

I love the fact that you actually document the COMPLETE REAL FACTS!! Thank you. I gave up the 'baby aspirin' /day a couple of months ago. I'm amazed at how the population is unknowingly steered off course, just by NOT doing our own research! Thank you for setting an example that we should all follow!! Because of you I'm researching common 'hidden' ingredients such as titanium dioxide and it's effects. Thank you for timed an dedication to reveal all the phony and harmful stuff!!

Thank you Doctor Berg, you are awesome and have changed my life with your videos. I have been on keto for 3 months and have lost a little over 30 lbs. Yesterday I got my bloodwork results and my gout and prediabetes are gone and all my vitamins were great except a bit low on VitD so I'm just going to get more sun. Thanks again, God bless.

From one of the articles :

Significant bleeding—a known risk of regular aspirin use—was also measured. The investigators noted that aspirin was associated with a significantly increased risk of bleeding, primarily in the gastrointestinal tract and brain. Clinically significant bleeding—hemorrhagic stroke, bleeding in the brain, gastrointestinal hemorrhages or hemorrhages at other sites that required transfusion or hospitalization—occurred in 361 people (3.8 percent) on aspirin and in 265 (2.7 percent) taking the placebo.

Thank you for sharing this important information. At one time I was taking low-dose aspirin as a blood thinner and not for its anti-inflammatory properties. Ultimately, I switched to fish oil. I understand cayenne pepper is also an excellent blood thinner and I use it in my food preparation along with other healthy spices like turmeric and ginger.

Mother got on baby aspirin in her mid 70s or so. In her mid 80s, 4 years before she died, she saw blood in her stool, ended up in the hospital. They found an ulcer in her intestines..i cant recall, i think it was the large intestine. She had to stay in bed for a few days with an intravenous drip of CIPRO antibiotic. New diet prescribed.
Also..she was later found to be sufferering from vascular dementia, not long after the gi bleeding episode. The dementia came on fairly quickly, doctors worring about stroke used mri to see inside the cranium..nothing significant, but they could see minor defects. She was told she was experiencing the effects from TIA'S " transient aschemic attacks" or mini strokes.

How many people suffer from a gastrointestinal bleed?

The prevalence of gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding in the general population varies depending on the type (upper or lower GI bleeding) and the specific population studied. In general:

Upper GI bleeding is more common and occurs in approximately 50 to 150 people per 100, 000 per year, translating to about 0.05% to 0.15% of the population annually.

Lower GI bleeding is less common, with an incidence of about 20 to 30 people per 100, 000 per year, or about 0.02% to 0.03% of the population annually.

Overall, GI bleeding affects a small percentage of the population each year.

How many people suffer from a cardivascular event?

The incidence of cardiovascular events varies depending on factors like age, gender, and region, but here are some general statistics:

Global incidence: Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), which include heart attacks, strokes, and other heart-related conditions, are the leading cause of death worldwide. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 17.9 million people die each year from CVDs, which accounts for about 31% of all global deaths.

Incidence rate: In terms of non-fatal cardiovascular events, studies suggest that in developed countries, the incidence rate can be about 5-10 cardiovascular events per 1, 000 people per year for middle-aged adults. This rate increases significantly with age.

Lifetime risk: In the U.S., it’s estimated that about 48% of adults have some form of cardiovascular disease.

These numbers highlight the significant global burden of cardiovascular events.

How many people suffer from intracranial hemorrhage?
ChatGPT
Intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), which refers to bleeding within the skull, has various types including intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and subdural hematoma. The incidence of ICH can vary depending on the type and population, but here are some general statistics:

Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH): The incidence is about 10 to 20 cases per 100, 000 people per year. This rate increases with age, especially in people over 65.

Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH): This type has an incidence of approximately 6 to 10 cases per 100, 000 people per year.

Overall intracranial hemorrhage: When considering all types, the incidence is roughly 24 to 30 cases per 100, 000 people per year.

These figures mean that intracranial hemorrhages are relatively rare but have serious consequences, often leading to significant morbidity and mortality.

Conclusion: 0.18 percent of people suffer from either intracranial hemorrhage or a gastrointestinal bleed. 1% of people suffer from a cardiovascular event per year.
My opinion: Make sure that your platelet count remains within the normal range in your blood tests if you are taking aspirin.

This is a misleading video talking about percentages as if you can compare 17% and 47% without stating the baseline number.
If there are 1 million cardiovascular events, 17% less is a big number, if you have 1 hundred GI bleeds, 47% more is a small number by comparison.
Your percentages are meaningless!

You also didn't mention the mechanism of aspirin in reducing blood clotting, not inflammation.
