For everyone complaining about still being able to see the messages on the screen, the fix for this is pinning the contacts you don’t want anybody to read at the top of your messages. that way you have to actually click on the pinned contact to see the messages instead of them just being on the screen as soon as you open the messages app.

You can also double-click the home button to use face ID for turning off guided access. Just make sure it’s enabled in guided access settings.

There is one teenee tiny problem to this… one can simply open the shortcut app and delete the setting, as what you did at last step (to disable back guided access on imsg), so unless if we can lock the shortcut app as well, but as far as i know, we cant, (I have tried to do this method to lock shortcut but the shortcut app is not even an option) it’s pretty much pointless. And all you can do is, cross your finger and hoping they dont know about that last step. Cmiiw.

I have a iPhone SE it didn’t work. I was stuck in messages. It kept seeing triple click home button to exit and no matter how many times I triple clicked. It didn’t work. Had to reset the phone and go to settings and turn it off.
