Never really liked Steven Universe, my ex liked the show, and whenever I hear the songs I think of how we used to stay up late and watch episodes, how she got me into it. Sometimes when I hear or replay the theme song in my head it feels like taking a breath, it feels like it's just me and the world. And sometimes I'll just lay in bed at 3 am and cry, or just reflect on where I'm at and how I got here. Love is hard, pain is hard. It's all hard man.

this is extra emotional when you grew up watching steven universe, just waching little steven grow up year by year while you're growing up too, then after years of fighting the galaxy, pressure, steven finally takes the time to embrace his human side. <3

Whenever I think about this show, I always think about my little brother. They showed me the movie and I really loved it, and so we watched it together. All 6 seasons, and re-watched the movie together. I love him so much, and I miss him every day while I'm here at college.

I'm currently re-watching the show, and I keep crying at just the most basic things, and I think it might be because this is the first time I'm watching the show without them. I'm seeing them in a few weeks for spring break, and I hope that we can continue watching together <3
