Newsflash: nobody wants to own bonds that pay next to nothing

My concern is that this isn't like any other financial buffoonery we have ever seen before--so history is out the window.

Why so focused on average consumer?
Inflation will come from the rich dumping fiat into commodities.

The argument of lowering rates, increasing money supply to chase restricted goods supply seems to only exacerbate an inflation problem

I try to follow these videos you make, but in truth, I can't understand a single thing you say. The relationships presented between all these markets are so unclear.

I would never buy government bonds... I'm not funding a crime syndicate. Gold for me. Out of the system and no good for the government. For me sold. The price of gold is irrelevant I just buy more if it gets cheaper. I wouldn't but a government bond if it was the only investment left out of principle.

Yea! Another several years of believing leaders didn't do this intentionally.

Steve, you need to clarify that bond yields are not related to inflation interest rates. I'm tired of the idea that bond yields mean anything that has to do with inflation

Hello Steve,

you are my main squeeze.

I literally cannot wait for each new show, it is like waiting for the next exciting episode of a dramatic mini-series drama.

The economic crescendo, just builds and builds. Whatever comes next is going to be a sight to see. Good job 👍

I know your undisclosed location. I was the guy that asked you to recite the disclaimer. I had a great time and really appreciate meeting you. Thanks for having me as a fan.

“More money has been lost reaching for yield than at the point of a gun.” That used to be a caution against speculative credit, but we may have reached a point where it applies to Treasuries as well.

I've lost countless sums following your advice. No more bonds for me. I'll never touch bonds again. Thought stocks were supposed to be the big risk assets not bonds. I've learned my lesson. Should have gambled everything on a worthless company run by a con artist like TSLA

I knew the FED had lost control ever since the FED changed its rhetoric from aiming for "two percent inflation";
I sat back and watched the inevitable "averaging two percent", then "allowing inflation to run hot", then OOPS!

safety of bonds. Oh boy have you looked around this country lately.

Steve's theories are all well and good, but bond prices are not going to increase enough to outpace the real rate of inflation (~15%).. buying bonds is an absolutely insane strategy..🤷‍♂️😲
