About 10 years ago, I considered getting another parrot but I began to notice that my bird was/ is pretty territorial.
He owns everything, including me.
He isn't aggressive about it - but I would prefer to keep it that way.
I discovered that I was correct about not having another creature in my house when I temporarily fostered a tiny kitty... just for a couple of weeks.
He pretended to be neutral about her and I did relax a bit.
He had time to let himself out of his cage and go hunt the kitty down and start a fight with her 😬
I intervened in time to rescue both of them.
Kitty was adopted the following day by a lovely lady and parrot is so proud of himself.
I'm sure he thinks he eliminated the cat😂
