Well, I love my Kuretake paints, but when I saw the pretty japanese style boxes I couldnt believe I hadnt seen them before. Theyre gorgeous! I'll have check them out. Also, I'd never heard of Choosing Keeping. Thanks for sharing your haul, and I'm going over to your channel to see what you paint.

Beautiful haul! The paints from Choosing Keeping are Gansai paints (that’s the type of paint) and the brand is Kissho, not Kuretake 😊

the large pans they use, as I understand it, is because in Japanese traditional painting, they use large brushes so the pans were designed to fit those larger brushes. 🤗

My choosing keeping gansai paints are the first thing I would grab if my house were on fire. I have 3 of the seasons sets and 3 era sets. (And the small neon set)

Lovely paint colors. Those last 3 blues looked very similar wet, did they have much of a drying shift?

The numbers I saw on the two pans you turned over coincide with the brand KISSHO. 53 is a blue and 127 is a green. It's worth checking out the other colors ❤
