Great Location for a Family Portrait Session in Maui. Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea

Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea is a great place to stay while you are vacationing in Maui. Their service, location, and amenities are one of the best in the world.
Most of the clients from Four Seasons Resort ask me to do their portrait session by the beach, Wailea Beach, which is in front of the resort. But, this lovely family wanted to do something different this year. We decided to do their portrait session at the hotel ground.
This resort offers so many different beautiful locations to photograph. Lighting was great at 10:30 am when we started the session. The painted Hawaiian quilting design wall became a unique and cheerful background. The courtyard with a victorian style fountain with a tropical garden made the children comfortable to pose in front of the camera.
During the photo shoot in Maui, Hawaii, I always have to consider the heat and wind. Doing this portrait session in the hotel ground helped me less concerned about those two aspects.
I think that doing the portrait session at the hotel ground is an excellent idea. If your young child is sensitive to lights, heat, texture, and hunger. Some needs time to warm up with the stranger like me. 😁 Children have their own feelings. I do not like to rush them. I rather take time so they will trust me and open up a little bit more to me and to my camera.
Thank you to this lovely family asking me to be their family photographer. I had a wonderful time knowing them and photographing them. I hope that they will contact me again when they return to the island.
