Las Vegas teens accused in deadly crime spree smile at victim's widow, daughter

Two Las Vegas teens who face numerous charges, including murder, in the death of a bicyclist who was intentionally hit appeared in court Tuesday morning as a judge set their trial date.

I worked as an officer of the courts in okla city for many yrs with serious juvenile criminals such as these. Never was this kind of behavior allowed!! There was absolutely zero tolerance or acceptance by the judges or Prosecutors. Their behavior should have been SILENCED immediately! This being allowed in her court room says volumes. Unreal. It absolutely stuns me.

What is wrong with people? It appears like they feel it’s all a joke and they are above the law and will get out of it - They knew exactly what they were doing and need to be tried as adults. My heart goes out to the families of both cyclists, it is both senseless and tragic on so many levels

The fact that these two could be back on the streets in 20 years or something is a true rebuke of our justice system. They’re monsters now. How bad are they going to be after hard time in prison?
