Selling My Acer Swift 5 Because of These 2 Issues

I have been using the Acer Swift 5 for a few months now. I wanted to love it but because of these two issues it's just not possible and I will have to sell it.

However on Amazon US I've only been able to find the Models without MX250:

Same here sadly. I have the Acer Swift X and it's a nightmare for music production.
Audio interfaces do not work properly, there are audio dropouts. The usb-c ports is a bit more stable but still has some dropouts every 5 minutes.
It's a shame for the price.

You should have opened your device. Both the ports your mentioned are sitting on a dedicated little Motherboard, maybe the connection to the main board wasn't fit properly.

Ever thought about buying a Thunderbolt 3 dock and using the USB and audio on that? I've got a HP G2 120W unit and that powers the slab, gives 3 extra USBs, audio jacks, and even has a couple of DisplayPorts. Yes, I know it isn't cheap - none of them are - but as slabs are going all ThunderBolt 3 these days maybe that would give you a common set of ports on different slabs. And yes, I call laptop slabs. :)

The port on the right is USB 2 and on the left is 3 .. may b that's the reason

I tried valorant with this one and couple of minutes the cpu downclock to 600mhz is this normal?it wasnt even that long just 2 minutes or so this happens. The temp was just around 60c. I know little about throttling but i wasnt expect this bad. When starting the frames was 120+ frame and after cpu down clock cant even achieve 60 frames. This game is not that heavy anyway in terms of hardware dependant any idea how to fix this?mine is the i5 1031g1 with mx250

I would just go straight for a solid ThinkPad for DJ if your turning around money with a pc machine
