This is one reason why we need to reinstitute Death Penalty for cases like this when hard evidence is 100% undeniable. No waiting period necessary and justice needs to be swift instead of making death penalty candidates stay in prison for more than 20 years before execution. The cheapest would be the guillotine and probably the most merciful way. A firing squad would be the next cheapest way to execute these types of criminals. If they are not dead within one week of conviction, just release them to the public and allow the public to do the execution just like of old testament fashion, death by stoning. If the criminal receives mercy from the public, then let the person go.
