ESP Guitars: LTD AP-4 Bass Demo by Nikki Stevens

Seems like a potentially nice bass, but how could we possibly tell from this demo? The chorus has drenched out any chance of hearing this bass’s tonal range or even getting a sense of her playing style.

Why can’t we just hear the bass guitar, instead we get an overly compressed tone ran through God knows what kind of effects chain and if that’s not bad enough they put it over a loud music bed in the background to further detract from the sound.

I have yet to see a half decent demo of this bass. They praise them a lot, but I don't know....all demos are crap or metal oriented. And I guess it must be quite a versatile instrument. A pity.

Chorus, who knows what other effects, only picked and constant talking while also playing ... that's not a way to present a bass guitar. My personal opinion.
