The HyperCube features over 90 patterns and 3 different modes: Kaleidoscopic, meditative, and sound reactive.

Meditative mode illuminates the cube with softer lights and more “breathing” like patterns.

In Sound Reactive mode, the cube matches and strobes to the beat of the music and the microphone sensitivity is also customizable in the app settings.

You can also change the color palette of the cube, allowing you to choose between 3 different colors that it will use for the LED, change the symmetry, or even freeze the animation.

We think the HyperCube is an interesting gadget with a surprising amount of use cases. At its core, it’s mesmerizing to look into and a fun addition on a trip.

But it can also be useful for making content and even product videos. With plenty of patterns to choose from, the HyperCube can make for a great addition to a set, add some wow factor to your next party, or sit back and relax to. Multiple cubes can also be linked together easily with one button in the app, allowing you to make a set with more cubes all synchronized together.

It’s also fun to use prisms or a round glass ball in front of the cube, which creates reflection of the lights inside the prism for a cool effect.

HyperSpace lighting launched the cube on IndieGoGo and will be shipping out to backers in June. If you want to get your hands on the HyperCube and want to save some money in the process, be sure to grab one of the early bird slots. The 10 inch version is $270, while the larger 15 inch version is $450.
