It always amazes me how they can change the lyrics to match a particular event and the whole cast can remember it perfectly and not accidentally sing the old lyrics

I'd put this in second place for best public performance for Beetlejuice, behind the fun of the 2019 Tonys. Brightman sitting in the audience before laying down the (continually modified) lyrics is totally what I would do in his shoes, and what got me jumping to go see it in Summer 2019. Yup, as far as I have been watching back, they modify the lyrics for "The Whole Being Dead Thing" every time it is performed for a public appearance, from GMA to the Tonys to here at the Macy's 2019 Parade.
