I knew I was going to marry my husband when I unexpectedly started my period the first night I stayed over. Made a mess. I was mortified. He carried me to the bathroom, ran a hot shower, by the time I got out, he had changed his sheets, thrown the others in the wash(waited for me to turn the water off too), and had a warmed up heating pad waiting next to the bed with ibuprofen. He ran out and got me tampons while I laid in his bed. Still crying. He thought I had the cramps. I just wanted to die from embarrassment. Before he became a fire fighter he was a nurse, and he used to help his mom and sister. For him it was no big deal. He was concerned about my pain. What?! We have been married for 21 years and this man still to this day goes into this mode for me, our two daughters and has shown our 3 boys this too.

He was and is still the sexiest man to me when he does this without batting an eye. So happy our boys got to learn by his example.❤

It's always heartwarming when someone doesn't try to make a girl embarrassed over her tampon or pad falling out or being in sight, it's just sweet how he immediately reassured her. Wish there were more guys like him in the world
