Wabbajack Mod Installer How to install any Modlist

I will show you how to install modlists using Wabbajack! It's not as hard as you think.

EDIT-You don't need to manually create the Downloads folder. That path will autofill when you select the installation path (assuming you haven't touched the downloads path field), and Wabbajack will create the folder for you.

ALSO! You will place the Wabbajack File You download In the wabbjack modlist Installer folder you created previously this should prevent it dumping a ton of unneeded files In your Downloads, as It can’t run from the downloads folder!

Disclaimer-I am by no means an expert! I will do my absolute best, but for general support please join the Wabbajack discord! The admins work tirelessly there for support, and they are extremely knowledgeable in troubleshooting. Again, I don’t mind at all to help if I know the answer, but discord with the admin support is the best bet 🙂

I'm glad this thing exists, I tried to download a mod list of like 500 mods from a showcase and it was hell as the mods have conflicts you have to sort out and I had no idea how to set them correctly and keep running into problems.

Now I'll just download a whole set from Phoenix.

all i get is install failed every single time? Copied your steps and other peoples and still nothing is working? Its a clean legit skyrim folder bought through steam. Frustrating the hell out of me the fact i was over 2 hours for an install that gets to the last steps and fails n no matter how many types i close and reopen wabbajack to retry it always fails it makes no sense to me

Hey, I'm one of the admins for Wabbajack. Just wanted to say thanks for this extremely informative video. A few observations:

That Noir readme screenshot was mildly ridiculous, I'm gonna see about changing that one...

Sorry to bother you man, but I spent all weekend following videos including this one and the instructions in wabbajack to try and install the Phoenix Flavour Dragon's Edition but everytime after it takes all that time to download i get an "installation failed". I read somewhere online that there may be a patch or something I have to download manually but nowhere can I find instructions or advice on how to do this. Would you happen to have any advice, tips, guide or something that would allow an extreme newbie like myself to be able to install this? Does the Phoenix Flavour have to be installed first before the Dragon's edition can be? I'm not a total idiot, but brand new to PC gaming and zero experience with modding. Thanks!

@phyrexisgmaing Thank you for the tutorial, one question though: Ive downloaded the Phoenix Flavor Modpack and seems like there isnt a "Game Folder Files" Folder. Do you know what I would have to look for?

this is probably a dumb question but does this work with fallout new vegas? i know you mentioned it should work with every game but the files are a lot different since im installing viva new vegas and i wanna be 100% sure im doing things right since i've been trying to remod new vegas the past few days lol

I installed a modlist, but none of the mods are showing up in MO2. I put all the files needed into the skyrim SE steam directory.

Hi, where do you copy and paste the other builds to? I have managed get the Kiezaal build up and running and was wondering if I wanted (for example) the NOIR build would it be the exact same process? thank you for this! I love bethesda games, i wanted to play them, but then i think, i need to install some mods, wow i need to search each file and instal. Losing hours and hours, but this tool, so powerful, now i can enjoy bethesda games with just a couple of clicks, thanks! Gonna play some oblivion with Through The Valleys mod pack. :)

I have a weird issue. I downloaded LS2 and installed a fresh copy of Skyrim SE, I run MO2 and change the path to point to my game folder which is C://SteamLibrary ect
MO2 recognizes that and it shows correct in the settings. But when I hit Launch it gives me an error saying : skse in D://Steam bla bla does not exist.. My game is not in D and I changed the path to where it is, but MO2 still points to the wrong path and I have no idea why that is or how to change it/fix it..

Im trying to download the elysium remastered mod pack and the issue im having is ill start downloading and wabbajack will stop responding shortly after the download starts. Then i restart it. Any way to make this not happen?
