It's good to see a female business leader who's ideas not only made sure internet reached almost all corners of India but letz be honest we all took advantage of tht free 1 year data and because of discounted rates other companies followed too, thus India Today has cheapest internet in the world . We need to give credit where it is due. Just because she is born rich and a girl -the comment section is showing their mindset by dismissing & badmouthing. If someone stays in India and increases business then u have problem, if someone shifts to a different country then u have more problem but look at the environment we are creating for business people who are doing well for themselves also boosting economy. We live in democracy not a communist country. Even Ambani's ancestors came from nothing and built all from scratch. even if u r born rich, one can either into Mukesh or Anil & either grow or crash your business.

Unlike many business families, who just marry their daughters into another rich family and get rid of her, her parents provided her with a platform to grow equally as her brothers. It is commendable. I hope other families whether upper or middle class will take a note.

Stop spreading these lies that she used to get "Rs.5" for canteen. Her mother Nita ambani herself drinks tea in the cup of Japan's oldest crockery brand Noritek, which comes in a set of 50 and each cup will cost you around 3 lakh so the total would be Rs1.5 Crore for 50 cups. Her morning tea costs like Rs.3 lakh.

I agree with what most people in comments are saying, she has contributed to the idea of jio but offcourse his father has built this empire and the team that Mukesh Ambani got on board has got the execution done. Nevertheless it's a great achievement to lead the company now.

This largely happens with Gujaratis, they give their daughters equal importance and skills as their sons. I've seen few communities in India across classes who will actively train their daughters to take over the family business. Even if their sons aren't the brightest bulb they'll still give it to the sons. Good on Mr.Mukesh Ambani to secure his children's future by giving them all the tools they need instead of seeing his daughter as a burden to be dumped on someone else.
