Not every child though thrives in the classroom, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't get the support they need to succeed. Just like every student is different, every school community has its own unique issues and challenges. And, in some parts of the state, community schools are addressing academic barriers head on. As students get ready for the classroom, Jason Newton talks with officials from Anne Arundel County’s community schools program, which helps families in specific communities in need.
