People underestimate banishment.

Not sure if banishing smite works in baldurs gate the same way it does in official 5e Ttrpg but both the banishing smite and the banishment spell does just that. Banish the foe back to whatever plane they came from originally effectively ending the fight. Provided that the creature you are attempting to banish fails the saving throw that is.

I used the old bardadin build before people realized banishing smite was a thing and I one shot Orin and bypassed all 12 stacks of her unstoppable with one smite crit.

noob here, how does this kill orin exactly? it didn't do enough damage to kill her and I thought banishment was temporay incapacitation

This fight was such a let down. All that build up and flavor just to get absolutley destroyed in 1-2turns. All the act 3 fights are too easy, but this one esp bc it coulda been epic

There’s really no daylight between Tactician and Honor mode. Both are really easy. The games almost unplayable with how easy it is. Needs a difficulty mod
