In case a user clicked on button multiple times(spammed btn click) how do we know that in Android? I wouldn't want to insert some data twice or more. #askfirebase

Thanks a lot I got everything working. thanks a lot. @Todd Kerpelman is right on point & funny too. But in my chat app after an interactive push notification I want to send the response back to FB database which only seems to be working when the app is in foreground. Can we do a FB Database data update even when the app is in background or killed state?

My hosted firebase URL's have ?_sm_au_=iDV73nD6437qqqFM or similar strings appended to the URL. Is there any way to get rid of this? #askfirebase

#AskFirebase I use Firebase Realtime Database on Android app. And I have a dictionary database of about 5 MB. Download the database takes a very long time. Can I get a download progress?
