Camshaft | Autodesk Inventor 2021 | Exercise 18 | Intermediate Tutorial

Learn how to model a generic Camshaft in this tutorial. In this tutorial, we sketch basic profiles, input a new plane and use the mirror command to form a generic camshaft, you can modify as much as needed, i.e. add my lobes, input bearings, extend shaft etc. All an easy modification from this tutorial.

can you teach me how draw camshaft camshaft using 4 cylinder engine ?

When I want to have adaptive spring driven from that camshaft it doesent work.. I have to use generator in assembly but I don’t know how to set contour properly… Is there any way how to fix it? I’m making V8 OHV engine.

Sir, at the end of the video, you give different colour between lobes and iron rod. Um, sorry. How to select object to give different colour, Sir? Because, I was try to hold control and move cursor but theres no respawn to block part like your tutorial. Thanks in advance.
