4K Scam Westminster Bridge

This is a scam you can see everyday on west monster bridge to con tourists out of money, the crowd you see around the main man are all in on it.

Half of the bystanders are in on it as well, it’s basically “rent-a-crowd” to generate curiosity and interest, and give people confidence that they aren’t the only ones gathering round. These people understand human nature. And some of those loiterers will be pickpockets too. They thrive on hustle & bustle and confusion, and try to create it; it’s their natural environment.

Can't the police do anything about it?
Anyhow anyone who gets taken in by this scam really has it coming to them!

For whoever is wondering how they're still operating today is cuz they consist of some 20-22 people working on this and there is a certain level of complexity to it.
They are divided into 4 main groups.
3 groups are doing the scamming on the bridge, last group consists of 2 guys sitting at the very ends of the bridge, giving constant info to other 2 guys sitting in between the scam groups and the scouts at the end. The groups receive info from the middlemen through some arm/hand signals. The idea is to get the easiest info from the streets without interrupting the social dynamics of the scam.

I was in London at March 2020 and they were still there trying to lure. They were in Westminster Bridge. Can't believe they can allow right next to the Westminster Palace. What does the police do?
